Jou Kandhei is a traditional terracotta doll from of present-day Odisha, India. These dolls are gifted to newlyweds as a symbol of love. Traditionally, the dolls are always gifted as a set of a female and a male doll and not separately. The bead like structure on the dolls is because of the use of w: Lac. Jau Kandhei is a Lac coated traditional terracotta doll from the Balasore region of present-day Odisha. Beautiful dolls are hand crafted by Odisha.  Odisha is famous for the creation of these dolls.
